80-100 is actually quite fast dude!
that's sometimes more than enough with S-02 or 050mzum, I don't really understand how that works. You mean round corners, or what? I'm normally cruising on the motorway between 110-140 km/h with the OEM 050......
You know the 'Ring' is more slippery than public roads when wet
Is it?
In 'heavy' rain I would not drive faster than 70 with the Yoko A048, that's for sure.

so how good are these tyres working on the s2000?
is the difference worthy the lack of grip during the rain?
enlighten us with your experience plsWell, actually I have tested them in the rain this week and I have to say, I was not really pushing my S since I don't really know where the limit is with the Yoko A048. I'd rather not find out when it's wet with these tyres. However there is definately grip at normal driving speeds (50-70 km/h). On the motorway I was driving between 80-100 km/h. It was fine. I did not want to drive any faster......
In dry conditions........ well I don't really need to say much.
CRAZY GRIP!!!! especially when they become warm after 10mins of 'normal' driving. I have the M compound on the front and MH on the rear. I like them so far, plus they have that JDM baller image!
Cheers.

Hi Sunrider,
The system looks great! I like the flat muffler box because you don't really see it from behind and the end pipes are cool. Sound file?!?

Hier sind nochmal ein paar Bilder......
@Eric
Dude your S even looks good without a set of wheels....... -
Hi all,
That's to everyone for the excellent event that went by so quickly!!!
It was fantastic to meet some new people and to drive the cool roads. I really loved that one corner, long left-hand turn which had a slight angle to it. Awesome turn!
I'm sure the karting session was fun too, wish I could have joined. I'll try to loose more weight for next years go-kart race!
to the entire S gang.
Pictures will follow......

That's crazy dude!
Know what - just talked to my neighbor, she might come along
although she was kind of skeptic - I wonder whyhmmmm, I wonder why. Get her to come along dude!! Just promise her that you will follow the speed limit at all times and that there will be absolutely no drifting.
See you all very soon!!

Hi Michi!
Sounds cool. I would like to join that event again. Do you know when the last deadline for registration is?
It's a shame you can't attend this time.
Gruesse,

Awesome second run!

Your probably correct Yves but if you were to use them only for a short period of time, once a year, it should be ok for the bushings and arms. I guess when using the semi-slicks you have drive with 'more feeling' than OEM tyres........
Basically, not to drive like crazy in the curves!
Gonna have to weld this brace for the front arms!

I kann nu rabraten von Semi-Slicks auf dem S, die Aufhaengung ist fuer das mehr an G-Kraeften auf die Dauer nicht ausgelegt! -
I will ask him and let you know.....

What else did he told ?
Do you know some more details about this fact ?

I've always wanted a set of semi-slicks and thought of buying a set of Yoko A048. I also considered a set of Toyo R888 but after I spoke with my brother in HK he told me that the Yokos are the better choice. He also told me that there is now a new model replacing the A048......
I have found a company in England that have an excellent choice of trackday tyres. They are totally professional and have most tyres in stock...........so, I have ordered a set!!!!
Yokos A048 in OEM size (M in the front and MH in the rear)
