Not the best weather but still a damm sexy tyre. I never thought some rubber rings could be so HARDCORE!
The tyres are OEM 17" size.
Nice rubber man!
btw... I ordered OEM Tires... maybe those A048s will be my next set.
Have fun with them!
so how good are these tyres working on the s2000?
is the difference worthy the lack of grip during the rain?
enlighten us with your experience pls

Well, actually I have tested them in the rain this week and I have to say, I was not really pushing my S since I don't really know where the limit is with the Yoko A048. I'd rather not find out when it's wet with these tyres. However there is definately grip at normal driving speeds (50-70 km/h). On the motorway I was driving between 80-100 km/h. It was fine. I did not want to drive any faster......
In dry conditions........ well I don't really need to say much.
CRAZY GRIP!!!! especially when they become warm after 10mins of 'normal' driving. I have the M compound on the front and MH on the rear. I like them so far, plus they have that JDM baller image!
Cheers.
damn... I love navy blue

80-100 is actually quite fast dude!
that's sometimes more than enough with S-02 or 050mz

um, I don't really understand how that works. You mean round corners, or what? I'm normally cruising on the motorway between 110-140 km/h with the OEM 050......
You know the 'Ring' is more slippery than public roads when wet Is it?
In 'heavy' rain I would not drive faster than 70 with the Yoko A048, that's for sure.

yeah I guess it all depends on the amount of water sitting on the tarmac plus your tread height.
But just generally when it's raining I try to stay below 100km/h just to be on the safe side. Then again I hardly ever drive in rain.
Yup you are the the ring is slippery as hell when it's whet!
