EGR / Airpump delete kit

Hi guys,

I have developed an EGR/delete airpump kit
and have put together a few of these kits after using this on my own s2000 and am pleased to be able to offer this to our fellow s2000 owners who can’t be bothered soldering the resistor and sourcing the other necessary parts themselves.

The kit is for European and JDM s2000s only (USDM cars have a different system) and here’s a summary of what it does:

Remove:
- Remove airpump
- Remove EGR
- Remove airpump/EGR piping
- Remove vacuum lines and metal bracket
- Remove plastic vacuum tank on cross member

Replace:
- Replace valve cover breather pipe
- Replace throttle body coolant pipe

And install:
- stainless steel EGR blank off plate
- Airpump dummy resistor
- Rubber cap for intake tube airpump connection
- Rubber cap for vacuum nipple on intake manifold

All this comes out, near 5kg worth of pointless death weight:

The airpump, pumps air into the engine, at a cold engine start.
it makes the catalisator faster at working temperature,
so the emissions will be fast at low ratings. You dont need this system,
it's a lot of death wait and all the hoses are visible in the engineroom.

Do it yourself:

Remove the front bumper.

Delete the airpump, and replace it for the resistor.

Airpump to intake tube connection cover:

remove the 2 hoses from the airpump leading to the intake tube and to the EGR.

remove EGR vacuum line.

Cap it off.

Take the EGR off and install the stainless cover plate:

Remove the tubes from the airpump to the EGR

Then this horrible thing comes out:

It will be replaced by these 2 new rubber lines:

And this one is removed from under the fuel rail cover:

Remove the rest of the vaccuum lines:

And your ready. If you folow the tubes and pipes, it all comes together.
Will take you about 1,5-2 hours.

Tested on my own S2000 for over 4 months and 4000km.
Works perfect. No CEL. Enginebay looks a lot cleaner!
