I have developed an EGR/delete airpump kit
and have put together a few of these kits after using this on my own s2000 and am pleased to be able to offer this to our fellow s2000 owners who can’t be bothered soldering the resistor and sourcing the other necessary parts themselves.
The kit is for European and JDM s2000s only (USDM cars have a different system) and here’s a summary of what it does:
Remove:
- Remove airpump
- Remove EGR
- Remove airpump/EGR piping
- Remove vacuum lines and metal bracket
- Remove plastic vacuum tank on cross member
Replace:
- Replace valve cover breather pipe
- Replace throttle body coolant pipe
And install:
- stainless steel EGR blank off plate
- Airpump dummy resistor
- Rubber cap for intake tube airpump connection
- Rubber cap for vacuum nipple on intake manifold

The airpump, pumps air into the engine, at a cold engine start.
it makes the catalisator faster at working temperature,
so the emissions will be fast at low ratings. You dont need this system,
it's a lot of death wait and all the hoses are visible in the engineroom.
