S2000 engine and gear in BMW E30..

    I am trying to find information on which to consider installing an S2000 engine in my track day tool: Bayerische Motoren Werke(BMW) 318is E30.
    I would love Cool to be faster at the BMW club trackdays than the E30 M3´s with tuned 2.5 liter S14 engines. It would be just lovely Twisted Evil

    To evaluate if this project is possible I need to know the weight of the S2000 engine naked/with all aggregates(starter, generator/+), weight of the gearbox, dimensions of the engine: height, length, installation angles ++

    Where should I search to find information?

    Hi Erland,

    As I remember there was, longer time ago, a guy who fitted the F20C (S2000) Engine into an E30 BMW, but I couldn't find the Link to this Thread.

    Vielleicht erinnert sich noch jemand an diesen Thread. Ich glaube es war sogar im S2KI Forum bei den Ami's, auf jeden Fall gabs den Link auch in diesem Forum.
