    Standard the JDM AP1 has got 250hp, I made this run on octane 98. So I guess with octane 100 and finetuning I can get to the 250hp without enginemodifications 8)

    Also noticed that the speedometer was limited to 180 km/h, so changed that immidiately!

    2 weeks after that the second test @ Nürburgring!
    [Blockierte Grafik: http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss122/RisingSunMalden/DSC_0475.jpg]

    My low position seatrails wasn't installed at the moment as you can see :P

    I will build the S2000 for circuit use but it will also be a democar for our shop.
    This car already has a history on the Japanese tracks and has been serviced @ the Type One Garage in Japan.
    They also installed all the Spoon Sports parts.

    For the coming winter I have planned to install the OEM hardtop which has just been painted, also the ARC Super Induction Box with ARC Intake Chamber.

    I have ordered quite some parts @ our partner ASM Autobacs Japan;
    - ASM Autobacs Floor Reinforcement bar
    - ASM Autobacs Inner Reinforcement braces
    - ASM Autobacs Rear Tower bar
    - ASM Autobacs Rear Lower Arm bar GT07
    - ASM Autobacs Front Lower Arm bar

    Still thinking what to do with the brakes and swaybars

    My second car is a '96 EJ9 Honda Civic 1.4

    Sweet! I too like the choice of parts, especially the rims! :D :thumbup: Regarding the picture of the S with the Work emotions mounted, do you have wheel spacers on the rear axle?

    I'm looking forward to the updates!

    No, it's without spacers with high J and lower ET/Offset you can get that result ;)

    Not at all, to be honest I actually prefer RHD, I have also driven a JDM DC2 so I already had quite some experience ;)

    Today I picked up my set of quite rare wheels, I had these painted in a custom flat black colour with a polished lip.

    Volk EVO4
    2x 18x7,5J ET45 5x114,3
    2x 18x8,5J ET50 5x114,3

    But believe it or not, just after I picked up the wheels I got a call from our Japanese agent. They have found a set of Spoon SW388 8)
    So I guess these wheels will be up for sale.......

    I agree, the Spoon rims look cheap and ugly! The Volk EVO4 look pretty nice.

    it's like women with shoes, right ;)

    I actually like the SW388, especially on a track car!

    why do you prefer a RHD car, what's the advantage?

    Hahaha that's right, what women have with shoes I have with wheels :lol:

    I prefer RHD because then I have better overview in the daily traffic.
    For instance; when I want to pass somebody on the road and I have to look over my left shoulder I have way more sight.

    Also ordered the ARC Super Induction Box with ARC Super Intake Chamber. We're going to test if we can win some HP with this kit.
    There are lot's of opinions about this kit, so we're going to test it out and see what it does :thumbup:

    OK
    let us know how it works.

    my opinion (w/o reading anything about it) from simply looking at it:
    - the intake chamber -> some torque gains
    - induction box ->hot air/ less air
    - overall more weight

    Update S2000;

    I have ordered a Spoon Aluminium Fin. Diff. case NTS so I will enlarge the original LSD oiltank from 700 cc till 2200 cc to keep the oil longer cool on the track and have an optimal working of the Spoon LSD.

    I have sold the Volk wheels :blush: I have tried them on the S but I thought it didn't look that amazing......

    Update Civic;

    Last week we have also installed a Kaaz LSD in the 98 spec B18C-R gearbox and there also seem to be another Final drive in the gearbox :_? let's see if we can find out what type of final gear it is.

    I had some spare time left this weekend so I installed the ASM Autobacs GT Tower bar and the ARC Super Intake!

    [Blockierte Grafik: http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss122/RisingSunMalden/DSC029211600x1200.jpg]

    [Blockierte Grafik: http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss122/RisingSunMalden/DSC029531600x1200.jpg]

    The stifness which the ASM bar gives is incredible, it was quite a tough job getting it installed but the endresult is superb.

    Installing the ARC intake was a piece of cake.

    Soon we will make a new dyno and i'm curious to see what this intake brings.
